Some of the best bike trails are right here in Oregon. Shelly and I have riden some beautiful countryside in Arkansas as well and after we move I plan to hit those trails again. But, here in Oregon there are guided bike tours that are awesome. All you do is ride your bike and the guided tour organizers takes care of the rest. Here are some of my favorites. Even though we have only taken part in one of these tours, we plan to do the other three real soon.

1. Oregon Adventures: This tour focuses on the Cascade Mountain range and has road and mountain bike tours to suit which ever ride you are looking for. You can do a scenic ride or a more difficult ride and let me tell you, it is a bit difficult. But, once you ride the ride, you feel awesome. They have it set up so you can ride in one day or make it last several days. (Starts at $30)

2. Cog Wild Bike Tours: Gives mountain bike or road bike tours and they are based in Bend and highlights rides for men and women. (Starts at $30)

3. Cycle Oregon: This is the most awesome tour I would love to participate in with Shelly and Skylar before we move. It's a 60 mile bike ride a day that cost $750 and that includes meals and all the support you need during the ride. This ride is similar to the Arky 100 with the Arkansas Bike Association. Shelly and I conquered 40 miles of that before her legs wouldn't carry her any further. Once we move back we will be ready to ride the entire 100 miles, but first we have to conquer Cycle Oregon.
